Volunteers Needed!

Fin & Feather Pet Center is working with Richmond Friends of Animals to switch over to an all-adoption model of finding homes for dogs. We are moving forward with our first ever adoption stand at the store this Saturday, and we need volunteers!
DATE: Saturday, August 18th
TIME: 11 am - 2 pm (3 hours total; if we get enough volunteers we can break it into shifts of 1.5 hours each, plus set-up & clean-up)
PLACE: Fin & Feather Pet Center on 5208 Lakeside Ave. in Richmond
GOAL: To help promote adoption instead of buying from breeders/puppy mills
Dogs are being provided by Richmond Animal Care & Control (and maybe another group as well...TBD) and will be fully vetted (spayed/neutered/immunized) and can go home to approved adopters from the stand. Tell your friends to stop by and support adoption and Fin & Feather for changing to a more humane model of business. Let's impress them with how much business the rescue community can give them!
Vegan snacks and doggie treats/water will be provided. We will have a tent, table, signage, leashes, collars, crates, and Adopt bandanas. Please bring your own lawn chair!
